ABOUT US

Horses have been a lifelong passion and obsession for Tama, the proprietor of Kanukadale Horse Management Centre.  Tama began her partnership with horses at age eight when her unhorsey parents borrowed a pony for her, in the hope that she would become sick of looking after it and lose her infatuation with horses.  Instead it strengthened her love for these beautiful creatures and she would spend hours watching her pony in the paddock.

Tama was always fascinated with the horses interaction with each other in paddocks, which lead her to study an Advanced Diploma of Horse Management through Melbourne University.  Tama is an accomplished rider with many successes on the competitive circuit.

 Kanukadale now operates as a small elite breeding and training facility; located in the Errinundra foothills near the Victoria and New South Wales border.

The major focus of Kanukadale’s philosophy is — Understanding horse psychology is the essence of a successfully trained horse.
