Training techniques

Every Kanukadale horse is treated as an individual, whether it is home bred or has come to us for education.  We recognize each horse’s unique personality and qualities that they carry.

In training, we adopt a holistic approach—the horse must be sound in limb, mind and spirit.

We have developed our training technique through the influence of Pat Parelli, Monty Roberts, John Chatterton combined with our own long experience with horses. 

Our methods have been very successful in getting (in what humans would term) useless horses off the scrap heap and back to work.
